I enjoy the special bonus map, Carentan, as well as Sainte Marie du Mont, Flak Tower and others quite a lot. There's a great deal of map variety for the regular modes, and while I'm not in love with all the maps (Gibraltor rubs me the wrong way, and Point Du Hoc is perhaps the worst Dom map imaginable) many others are terrific and well-balanced. Many of the basic CoD modes return to World War II, from Domination to Hardpoint to Team Death Match, but I mostly play Domination or War with some Capture the Flag and various other modes mixed in, usually just to complete Daily Orders. Note, due to constant updates and fixes some of these may be dated, though the general shortage of multiplayer maps in both standard and War Mode is a problem that I don't see changing without buying DLC, unless miraculously Activision and Sledgehammer break all precedent and release some free maps (which they should do, of course.) The short version is that I really enjoyed it despite unwelcome changes like non-regenerating health and some AI issues. All three platforms offer a similar experience, though I do like being able to play with mouse-and-keyboard on PC.
